General
2. The Ticket Ballot may be administered by or on behalf of IBC and/or the relevant Tournament organising entity, LOC or the Host (collectively, the “Organiser”), using the Official Ticketing Agents and approved technology, communications and data-processing suppliers.
3. These Ballot Terms govern the operation of the Ticket Ballot. These Ballot Terms do not apply to accreditation. Accreditation holders and accreditation applications are governed by separate accreditation terms and conditions.
4. By submitting an Application, each Applicant confirms that they have read, understood and agreed to these Ballot Terms.
5. Separate Ticket Terms and Conditions shall govern the subsequent sale and use of Tickets to successful Applicants and their presence inside the Venue for the Match.
Eligibility
6. The Ticket Ballot is only open to individual consumers and shall not be open to any commercial enterprise, including but not limited to any company, business or individual acting in a trading capacity (or any person acting on their behalf). Any Ticket purchased or otherwise acquired by such a commercial enterprise through the Ticket Ballot may be cancelled by the Organiser without notice and any Ticket holder seeking to use the Ticket may be refused admission to or evicted from a Venue by any Authorised Person without refund or compensation and must deliver up any and all Tickets in their possession at the request of an Authorised Person.
7. Each Applicant may submit one (1) valid entry per Match. An Applicant may submit entries for multiple Matches, provided that no Applicant submits more than one (1) entry for the same Match. For the avoidance of doubt, submitting an entry for one Match does not prevent an Applicant from submitting an entry for any other Match(es) included in the Ballot. Multiple entries submitted by the same Applicant for the same Match will be invalid and only the first valid entry received for that Match will be considered.
8. In submitting an Application, you confirm that you have legal capacity to enter into a contract and you satisfy any minimum-age requirements stated on the Website. The Organiser may require you to provide proof that you are eligible to enter the Ticket Ballot.
Applications
9. Applicants may apply for one or more eligible Matches through the Ticket Ballot, subject to the Ballot Terms, Match-specific restrictions, overall or per-Match limits or any other such limits as displayed on the Website or otherwise communicated during registration. An Applicant may request a maximum of four (4) Tickets per eligible Match, unless a different limit is expressly specified for a particular Match. The maximum number of Tickets that may be requested applies separately to each Match for which an Applicant submits an Application.
10. Applicants acknowledge and agree that entering the Ticket Ballot does not guarantee that they will be allocated any Tickets. It is only an opportunity to purchase Tickets and not a Ticket purchase, reservation, guarantee of allocation, guarantee of seat location, or guarantee that Tickets will be offered at any particular price.
11. Applications should only be submitted through an official channel. The Organiser may publish or update the list of official channels from time to time.
12. No Applicant is authorised to sell a Ticket Ballot registration, Ticket Ballot position, priority status or purported guaranteed allocation unless expressly authorised in writing by the Organiser.
13. All Applications must be received by the Organiser by no later than 2359 SAST on the final day of the Application Window. All Applications received after the closing date of the Application Window are automatically invalid.
14. Submitting multiple Applications, creating multiple accounts, using false identities or manipulating account details to circumvent limits is prohibited. The Organiser may consolidate, suspend or cancel duplicate or suspicious Applications.
15. Applicants are responsible for reviewing their selections before submitting an Application. Once submitted, an Application may not be amended. An Applicant may withdraw an Application before the Application Window closes, provided that the withdrawal is completed through the Website in accordance with the process made available by the Organiser.
16. You may be required to create or use a Tournament, ICC or official ticketing account. Account credentials must be kept secure and may not be shared for the purpose of circumventing Ticket Ballot or purchase limits.
17. You must provide accurate, current and complete information, including a valid email address and mobile number where requested. The Organiser may require you to verify your identity, account, email and mobile number.
18. Where an Applicant selects an accessibility seat requirement as part of an Application, the Organiser will use reasonable efforts to take that requirement into account when allocating accessible inventory, subject always to availability, Venue configuration, operational requirements and the Ticket Ballot process. The Organiser may require the Applicant to provide reasonable information or verification in support of any accessibility requirement before issuing or confirming any accessible Ticket allocation.
19. All decisions relating to the Ticket Ballot shall be entirely at the discretion of the Organiser, whose decision in all matters relating to the Ticket Ballot shall be final. The Organiser reserves the right to suspend, cancel or modify the Ticket Ballot at any time (and for any reason) with or without notice.
Ballot methodology and allocation
20. Unless expressly stated otherwise, no payment is requested merely to enter the Ticket Ballot. Any temporary card verification or payment-method validation, if introduced, will be clearly disclosed before submission.
21. Prices shown during the submission of Applications for the Ticket Ballot are indicative or applicable Ticket prices for the relevant category at that time and remain subject to correction of manifest error, applicable taxes, approved fees and any disclosed pricing rules.
22. If dynamic, demand-based or variable pricing is used for any inventory, this will be disclosed before the Applicant becomes financially committed. The Organiser will not substitute a higher-priced Ticket category without the Applicant's express acceptance or a clearly disclosed pre-authorisation mechanism.
23. Where the number of valid Applications for a Match exceeds the number of Tickets available for allocation through the Ticket Ballot, the Organiser may allocate Tickets for that Match by means of a randomised ballot. The randomised ballot may be conducted separately for different Ticket categories or price bands, where applicable.
24. Random selection does not imply that every successful Applicant will receive all Tickets or all Matches requested. Partial allocation may occur where determined by the Organiser and requesting the maximum of four Tickets for a Match does not guarantee that the Applicant will be allocated all four Tickets, or any Tickets, for that Match.
25. Where a ballot is not required, any remaining Ticket inventory may be made available through a subsequent general or priority sale, as determined by the Organiser.
26. Applicants will be informed through the official contact details linked to their Applications. Applicants must keep their contact information current and check spam or junk folders. Delivery or receipt of an email is not guaranteed and Applicants remain responsible for checking their official ticketing account and published timelines. Official Ticket Ballot communications may be sent by email, SMS, in-account notification or other channels disclosed during the Application process.
27. Applicants should not rely on social-media posts, unofficial websites or third-party messages as evidence of a successful allocation.
28. A successful Application result creates only the right or invitation to complete a purchase in accordance with the process and purchase deadline communicated to the successful Applicant in the relevant notification, unless the Ticket Ballot flow expressly provides for automatic purchase against a pre-authorised payment method.
29. If a successful Applicant fails to complete payment or any required verification within the period specified in the relevant successful Applicant notification, the allocation may lapse and the inventory may be reallocated without compensation.
30. Unsuccessful Applicants have no entitlement to compensation, priority or alternative tickets, but may participate in later official sales where eligible.
31. For certain Matches, the participating teams may be pre-seeded, provisionally identified or subject to qualification. Applications are for the relevant Match only and not for any particular participating team, player or Match-up. No refund, exchange, amendment or compensation will be available solely because the participating teams differ from those anticipated or advertised at the time of Application.
Anti-fraud controls
32. The Organiser may use reasonable fraud-prevention and identity-matching controls to detect duplicate accounts, bots, automated Applications, payment fraud, bulk acquisition, circumvention of limits or Applications made for unauthorised resale.
33. The Organiser may cancel affected Applications, suspend accounts, invalidate allocations, refuse future purchases and take other lawful action where it reasonably believes these Ballot Terms have been breached.
Automated access, bots, scraping and AI systems
34. No Applicant may use a bot, script, crawler, scraper, automated purchasing tool, artificial-intelligence agent or other automated system to register, obtain an unfair advantage, harvest inventory information, extract personal or commercial data, probe the Website, bypass rate-limits or interfere with Ticket Ballot operations.
35. The Organiser may block traffic, require additional verification, rate-limit activity, suspend accounts and invalidate Applications associated with prohibited automated activity.
Data protection and cross-border data sharing
36. All Applicants irrevocably and unconditionally consent to the collection, use and insertion into a database by or on behalf of the Organiser of personal information provided by the Applicants in accordance with applicable law and the applicable privacy notice for the purposes of implementation of these Ballot Terms, including for Ticket Ballot administration, identity and fraud checks, access control purposes, enforcement, customer service, Ticket allocation, communications, analytics, security, legal compliance and subsequent ticketing activities. The Organiser may share such personal information as may be generally and reasonably required for the proper and efficient staging of the Ticket Ballot process, Tournament and to give effect to any of its rights in terms of these Ballot Terms. The Applicant can access and/or correct their personal information by written request to the Organiser.
Website availability and technical errors
37. The Organiser will use reasonable efforts to operate the Website reliably but does not guarantee uninterrupted availability. Maintenance, telecommunications failures, cyber incidents, extraordinary demand or other events may affect access.
38. The Organiser may extend, pause, reopen or reschedule a Ticket Ballot where a material technical or operational issue has affected fair access in the Organiser’s opinion.
39. The Organiser may correct obvious pricing, inventory, match, venue, category, date, image, copy or configuration errors. Where in the Organiser’s opinion a correction materially affects an Application, reasonable notice and an opportunity to amend or withdraw will be provided to the Applicant where practicable.
Changes, suspension and force majeure
40. The Organiser may amend Ticket Ballot dates, processes or availability where reasonably required for Tournament scheduling, Venue changes, security, government direction, technical integrity or force majeure.
41. Force majeure includes (without limitation) events beyond reasonable control such as pandemic or epidemic, terrorism or credible threat, war, civil unrest, riot, severe weather, natural disaster, fire, flood, major power or telecommunications failure, cyber incident not reasonably preventable, strike or industrial action, transport shutdown, government restriction, public-health measure or Venue unavailability.
42. Where a force majeure event affects the Ticket Ballot operations, the Organiser will seek to communicate the revised process through official channels as soon as reasonably practicable.
Waiver & indemnity
43. EACH APPLICANT ACKNOWLEDGES THAT THEIR PARTICIPATION IN THE TICKET BALLOT IS AT THEIR OWN RISK AND THAT, TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LOCAL LAW, NEITHER IBC NOR THE ICC NOR THE LOC, NOR ANY OF THE TOURNAMENT ORGANISING ENTITIES, OFFICIAL TICKETING AGENTS NOR THE HOST NOR ANY AUTHORISED PERSONS ARE LIABLE FOR ANY LOSS, DAMAGE AND/OR HARM, INCLUDING (WITHOUT LIMITATION) BODILY OR MENTAL HARM, PERSONAL PROPERTY DAMAGE OR ANY LOSS, LOSS OF PROFIT, BUSINESS OR OPPORTUNITY, INDIRECT OR CONSEQUENTIAL LOSS, SPECIAL DAMAGES OR ANY OTHER LOSS AND/OR HARM HOWSOEVER ARISING FROM THE OPERATION OF THE TICKET BALLOT, INCLUDING THE SUBMISSION, PROCESSING AND CONSIDERATION OF ENTRIES, THE TICKET BALLOT PROCESS, THE SELECTION AND NOTIFICATION OF SUCCESSFUL APPLICANTS AND THE ALLOCATION OF TICKETS PURSUANT TO THE TICKET BALLOT PROCESS. EACH APPLICANT AGREES THAT NO CLAIM, COMPLAINT OR PROCEEDING WILL BE BROUGHT IN RELATION TO THE FOREGOING.
44. EACH APPLICANT SHALL INDEMNIFY AND HOLD IBC, THE ICC, THE OFFICIAL TICKETING AGENTS, THE HOST AND ALL THE TOURNAMENT ORGANISING ENTITIES, LOC, AUTHORISED PERSONS HARMLESS FROM AND AGAINST ALL LOSS, DAMAGES AND LIABILITIES, INCLUDING (WITHOUT LIMITATION) BODILY OR MENTAL HARM, PERSONAL PROPERTY DAMAGE OR LOSS, LOSS OF PROFIT, BUSINESS OR OPPORTUNITY, INDIRECT OR CONSEQUENTIAL LOSS, SPECIAL DAMAGES OR ANY OTHER LOSS AND/OR HARM HOWSOEVER ARISING (INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE COSTS OF ENFORCEMENT OR ATTEMPTED ENFORCEMENT OF THESE BALLOT TERMS), SUFFERED OR INCURRED BY ANY OF THEM IN CONNECTION WITH, RESULTING FROM, OR ARISING OUT OF, A BREACH BY ANY APPLICANT OF ANY OF THESE BALLOT TERMS.
Miscellaneous
45. These Ballot Terms have been drafted in the English language. In the case of any conflict or ambiguity between the English version of these Ballot Terms and any translation of them into any other language, the English version of these Ballot Terms will prevail.
46. IBC reserves the right to make amendments to these Ballot Terms from time to time at IBC’s sole discretion and without notice.
47. These Ballot Terms and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with these Ballot Terms (including, without limitation, any dispute or claim relating to non-contractual obligations) shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with English law and any dispute (including, without limitation, any non-contractual dispute or claim) arising from or in connection with these Ballot Terms shall be submitted to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts. Notwithstanding the foregoing, the Organiser reserves the right to pursue any legal proceedings in a competent court in the defendant's domicile, which proceedings shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with English law.

48. Ticket Ballot queries and complaints must be directed through the official Tournament customer-service channels published on the Website.
